We are gathering on In Person and on Zoom this Sunday at 10:30am!
Like many of you, I worry everyday about Putin’s war on Ukraine, seeing so much damage to people and places and no end in sight. How can peace be created when someone is so intent on destruction? It’s a question I hope we can answer in the coming years so that war becomes something we’ve outgrown. In the meantime I limit my news intake and try to keep my focus on helping the people of Ukraine. We light a candle each week for the people of Ukraine.
This Sunday at 10:30am, in-person and on-line, I am exploring the ways we are held by history, but also need to grow beyond it. Churches gather together the present, past and future, sheltering us with the wisdom of times past, comforting us with tradition. How can we live well within these many layers of time while also continuing to grow?
If you have friends struggling with the war in Ukraine or the end of the pandemic restrictions they may find comfort in our chalice community, invite them along. I look forward to being with all of you on Sunday.
Pre-register for service here. Registration is appreciated but not required. Individuals who wish to attend must be fully-vaccinated.
