Sunday Service: Be Like Water – Water Ceremony

It’s that time of year when we gather together and begin a new season with our annual Water Ceremony. Join me this Sunday at 10:30am for a welcoming service that celebrates water and community. As we share the water from our summer experiences into the common bowl, we nurture this chalice community with our presence.

Bring water, wear your favourite shade of blue, enjoy a refreshing glass of water on the lawn as you arrive – look for the bubble machine! Stay after service for a welcome back lunch, free of charge, provided by the fellowship committee. Our new promotional tent will be on display on the lawn. If you forget your water, there will be small jars of water available.

Stay after service for a free welcome back light lunch of sandwiches, a gift from the Fellowship Committee.

As you arrive you may notice the administration part of our building looks a little different. We have added insulation and fresh stucco, and are waiting for new windows to be installed. As well as refreshing the appearance of the building, this upgrade will reduce our energy use. Special thanks to Doug Rylett, Cathy Tafler and our property committee for their endless hard work this summer!

I look forward to being with all of you this Sunday.

Blessings,

Fiona
