Summer Sunday Service: The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large

UCM Summer Services

Rev. Fiona – 5th  Principle – The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.

Conscious Democracy

Our fifth principle resonates more and more with me as we witness challenges to democracy across the globe.  As UUs, we affirm  “the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process…”, what role does conscience play in collective decision making?  Join me on Sunday August 19th for the final service in our seven principle series.

Rev. Fiona

Please join us for a series of Simple Summer Services on the theme of our UU 7 Principles. Each Service Leader will reflect on their personal interpretation of a principle. Simple Summer Services are more casual that our regular Sunday services. These gatherings set up as a circle, typically without music and are followed with refreshing lemonade.

Families are always welcome at UCM, the alcove will be set up as usual with activities for children. There will be no nursery.
