This Sunday we explore an essential aspect of wellness – our spiritual health. What does spiritual health look like? Part of UCM’s purpose is to help people deepen in spirit, to find life meaningful and develop a sense of connection to the greater whole. Spiritual wellness will look different for each of us, it may be having clear moral values and living by them, it may be experiencing an on-going relationship with the Sacred, or it may be having a sense of purpose. We will enjoy a guided meditation with our new service leader, Tammy Christiansen, and a gift of music from the choir. You are welcome to stay after the service for a wellness conversation with me.
As this is our monthly wellness service, part of our education focus of Healing & Growing, I encourage parents to bring their children for a time of learning and connecting. Family Life Coordinator Caitlyn Seale will be working with the youth, and there are activities for younger children as well. Please reach out to Caitlyn at flc@uucm.ca for details.
I look forward to seeing many of you at Seedy Saturday in the Great Hall, I’m grateful so many people are willing to volunteer their time to make these special events go well.
Blessings are everywhere.
