We return to our wellness series this month with a focus on physical wellness at Sunday’s service. Physical well-being is about embodiment – the joys of being in our beautiful bodies, moving in the world. While getting enough rest and eating well matters for your health, physical well-being is about being attuned to your body, being aware of your physical needs and trusting your sensations. We lift up the value and challenges of body trust.
This is also a special service in which we honour the folks who have chosen to join us in membership over the past months. We will joyfully welcome them into our community during the service, and with cake afterwards! Come and welcome our new members!
As part of our leave taking and the move, I have been letting go of my books, and this Sunday our UCM Librarian Kathy Stobie is hosting a book sale before and after service (see below for details). Finally, the Board Co-Presidents will be hosting another Listening Circle beginning at 12pm, offering an opportunity to share your feelings on all the transitions happening.
I look forward to being with all of you this Sunday.
Blessings,
Fiona
