We are gathering on Zoom this Sunday at 10:30am!
It is 2022 and we are back to restrictions and worry with the Omicron surge overwhelming hospitals and ourselves. This variant of the virus transmits so easily, despite our precautions, and I find myself beginning this new year in a quiet mood, not sad, but pensive as we once again retreat into our homes. Looking for the good I see it in dedicated health care workers and booster shots and those raising their voices to protect democracy and the climate.
How can we work for justice when we are stressed by the pandemic? How do we restore compassion when we have compassion fatigue? This Sunday at 10:30am we return to the principles, looking at our desire to seek justice, equity and compassion in human relations. This service is on-line only, you can join on Zoom or watch on YouTube livestream. Service leaders will broadcast from the Great Hall, and we will also enjoy a musical gift from our own Edwin Vlasics.
