Pathway Non-Profit Community Developments is a prime example of successful inter-faith cooperation, action and sustainability when it comes to affordable housing. It was founded over 30 years ago by the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga, Solel Congregation of Mississauga, and Streetsville United Church to help address the need for affordable housing in Peel Region. Pathway built and operates two affordable housing buildings containing 230 units in Mississauga and manages an additional 240 social housing units through Pathway Housing and Support Services (PHSS). In addition, Pathway Community Programs (PCP) continues to provide and oversee breakfasts and activities for the children of our tenants and neighbours.
Join us March 7th to receive an update on Pathway’s activities. You are also invited to renew or become a Pathway member for a $10 membership fee and to make a donation to Pathway Community Programs to ensure its much-needed programs are sustainable.

Pathway Needs Your Membership!
Dear fellow members and friends of UCM. March 5, 2021
You can make a difference. Pathway needs your membership!
Pathway is one of UCM’s major social action and outreach initiatives. Founded over 30 years ago, Pathway is Peel Region’s largest non-profit, non-government affordable housing development. There are 3 faith-based partners: Solel Congregation of Mississauga, Streetsville United Church, and the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga.
Your membership and support in Pathway ensures 230 families have decent and affordable housing here in Mississauga. If you make a separate contribution to Pathway Community Programs, you will also be supporting breakfast programs and activities for the children of these families and seniors.
We can all be proud of our Pathway effort. There have been many success stories among Pathway families who have worked hard to improve their financial situation so they no longer need government rent subsidies. Additionally, our buildings have become a hub of community activity and will be again once Covid-19 is controlled. Check out the Pathway web site at http://www.pathwayhousing.ca to get all the details of Pathway, its history and activity.
Please join with us to become a Pathway Member for this year. Becoming a member entitles you to vote at our annual meeting. Your membership does not mean that you automatically become a volunteer at Pathway unless you want more involvement with this inspiring initiative. Also, you are invited to give to Pathway Community Programs whose programs help many tenants and neighbouring children. Because of our status as a non-profit corporation, we cannot offer tax receipts.
Thank you for your support from your current UCM/Pathway Team:
