Online Service: Unitarians in Burundi

This Sunday at 10:30am we widen our horizons with guest minister, the Rev. Fulgence Ndagijimana. Rev. Fulgence is the founder of Unitarianism in Burundi, beginning the first church there in 2002. After being arrested and imprisoned Rev. Fulgence was able to come to Canada, settling in Saskatoon with his family; he now runs Flaming Chalice International, a charity supporting Burundi Unitarians. He will share some of his story and speak about Unitarianism in Burundi. We will take a special collection for FCI, there is more information below; any and all donations are appreciated. You can give at anytime, just mention UCMississauga in the organization line.

This is also our Amnesty International writing weekend, and the team has found two African issues for us to respond to with letters. You can write your letters anytime this weekend. Please visit our Social Justice Page and Click on Amnesty International

I am away this weekend which means I have to miss our youth and family get together this Saturday at UCM. DLL Kathleen has a great afternoon of socially distanced activities so that families can re-connect.

As we head into this second wave of COVID-19 may we continue to find ways to care and support one another as we ride this wave of uncertainty and worry. We will get through this together.
