Sunday Service: Dwelling in Possibilities – Wendy Shusterman

Dwelling in Possibilities – Wendy Shusterman

This Sunday at 10:30am we continue to explore the monthly theme of possibility.

When Fiona invited me to deliver a reflection during her sabbatical, I had no idea where my exploration of this vast topic would take me. My travels took me off in all directions, so I turned to the poets to put me back on track. I often turn to poetry for inspiration and the imagery that helps me to make sense of what I am writing. I kept hearing the poet Emily Dickinson reminding me that I dwell in possibility. She led me to our common dwelling UCM, a place brimming full of possibilities.

This morning we will open the door and explore the wonder & possibilities that are on the other side.

Next Sunday we will welcome Fiona back from her three week sabbatical. We will celebrate her return with our annual fire ceremony.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Warmly,
Wendy Shusterman
