Sunday Service: Flower Ceremony – A Meadow of Flowers

This Sunday we celebrate our annual all ages Flower Ceremony, followed by our Potluck Picnic!  Come out and rejoice in the beautiful diversity of the earth by bringing a flower for our communal bouquet. Don’t forget to wear your brightest colours. We will enjoy a special musical gift from members of the choir.

As so often happens with life, joy will be tempered by sorrow, as we say good-bye to Pamela Smith Loeters, our dedicated Director of Lifespan Learning. After six years of offering her many gifts, she is moving on to become a parent coach. Pamela’s wonderful storytelling and caring connections with children and family will be missed.

After this Sunday, we transition into our summer season with quieter services organized by our wonderful service leaders. Come out for thoughtful conversation and delightful company! We do not have a pianist or child care during the summer, but the nook will be available for kids. Lemonade (instead of coffee) will be served during the summer heat.

I look forward to celebrating with all of you this Sunday.

Blessings,
Fiona
