Summer Sunday Service: The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all

UCM Summer Services

Vanessa Romeiro – 6th Principle – The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all.

The Rev. Sean Parker Dennison said, “The sixth Principle seems extravagant in its hopefulness and improbable in its prospects.”

This Sunday at 10:30 AM, we explore the 6th principle of Unitarian Universalism:  The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all. What does the concept of ‘world community’ mean to you? Is it possible to have justice and peace co-exist? In which ways do we see this principle reflected in our congregational community? What do your personal goals of ‘community’ look like?

Please join us for a series of Simple Summer Services on the theme of our UU 7 Principles. Each Service Leader will reflect on their personal interpretation of a principle. Simple Summer Services are more casual that our regular Sunday services. These gatherings set up as a circle, typically without music and are followed with refreshing lemonade.

Families are always welcome at UCM, the alcove will be set up as usual with activities for children. There will be no nursery.
