NUPOP, short for “Nunavut Pop,” presents and celebrates the incredible talent of Inuit artists.

Highlighting the sounds of Nunavut, NUPOP South 2023 is a concert experience featuring award-winning Inuk singer Angela Amarualik and introducing Inuk hip-hop artist Leo Matthew Temela. Angela was born and raised in Igloolik, Nunavut. She recently recorded her second album with Grammy-winning producer, Chris Birkett. Leo Matthew Temela is from Kimmirut, Nunavut and is currently recording his debut album with Grammy award-winner Matt Snell of Genesis Sound Inc. and Robbie Brett.

NUPOP South 2023 is presented by Hitmakerz in collaboration with Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters and Unitarian Congregation of Mississauga.
