The Mississauga Food Bank’s goal is to raise $750,000 by April 23, 2023. The first $15,000 donated will be matched, dollar for dollar by Scotts Canada Ltd., who is sponsoring the Spring food drive. The Mississauga Food Bank is encouraging monetary donations since they can purchase food in bulk directly from manufacturers as well as fresh and frozen food that neighbours in need receive through their unique programs. An alternative option is to donate most urgently needed items such as: juice packs, cooking oil, peanut butter, pasta sauce.
