Daytimers: Forest Bathing Walk

On October 19th Daytimers will be going on a Forest Bathing Walk in the forest next to the Visual Arts Mississauga gallery in the Riverwood Conservancy (north side of Burnhamthorpe between Mississauga Road and Mavis).  There is ample parking in the lot.   We will meet in front of the gallery at 115.  The walk begins at 130.  Our certified leader charges a minimum of $100.  There is a maximum of 15 permitted.   The cost per person is $10, but if we get less than 10 people the cost will increase.

Pre-registration is required for this exciting event.  Please let Wendy or me know by October 7th latest so I can cancel the walk if we don’t get a good turnout.

The walk will proceed for 2 1/2 hours including a tea ceremony at the end.  It will go rain or shine unless there is a rainstorm.  Please dress appropriately and bring a cushion or folding stool to sit on as we will be stopping occasionally to sit and meditate.    Please note that some of the path is a bit steep and could be slippery if it has recently rained.
