Please join us at noon on June 16th for conversation and at 12:30 for a very important talk by Diana McNeill “Speaking of Bones”. Diana is a trained Bonefit teacher and specializes in movement classes that address the unique needs of those with Osteoporosis. As a volunteer speaker with Osteoporosis Canada, Diana will be talking about the importance of maintaining bone health and share ways we can both stop further bone loss and build bone density. This workshop is open to everyone, no matter your age or gender. Bone loss  affects men as well as women. It is key for young people to build bone as they grow and develop, because our maximum lifetime bone density is achieved by age 30. Bone loss can begin in our thirties. Osteoporosis may lead to serious bone fractures which can be debilitating as we age.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Feel free to invite friends to share in this very important discussion.
