The UCM Book Club meets on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of the month from September through May. Our books are chosen by consensus.

At our meetings, everyone has a chance to give their opinion on the book and then we have time for discussion. On September 28th at 1 PM we will discuss My Mother’s Daughter, a “raw and affecting” memoir by Perdita Felicien. She is a World Champion Hurdler, 10-time national champion and a 2-time Olympian. This summer you saw her as part of CBC’s team covering the Olympics.

September’s meeting will be a zoom meeting online and the link will be published in a future Shining Chalice.
