Our Amnesty International group has created two letters to Prime Minister Trudeau on the Israel-Gaza war, one advocating the Canadian government to call for a Ceasefire, and the other letter supporting a “humanitarian pause” in the conflict.
The idea is to give you a choice – to sign one letter, not both. Both letters urge a greatly increased flow of humanitarian aid through the southern border crossing, as well as urging Hamas to return the hostages safely.
There is an extra letter addressed to the Saudi Arabian government protesting an increased use of the death penalty, especially as a means of suppressing political dissent.
Please read the letters in the lobby and sign if you agree with the sentiments.
We appreciate any contributions to the donation cups for postage costs.
