Our UCM Amnesty International team has prepared three letters to read, and sign if in agreement, this Sunday January 15th. on the following issues:

• The first letter is to the Israeli Government urging them not to evict over 1,000 Palestinians from West Bank encampments they have occupied for over 40 years.
• The second letter is to the Head of the Iranian Judiciary asking to revoke state sponsored blinding sentences of three prisoners under Sharia Law (eye for an eye) and to cease its executions of people protesting against mandatory hijab-wearing.
• The third letter is to the Egyptian government supporting the right of political prisoners to proper medical care in detention, and access to legal support.

The letters will be set up in the church lobby and you can sign before or after service. Donations in the postage cup are appreciated.
