Edward Clark

Ed started painting in oils when he was in his thirties. Retirement a few years ago offered him the opportunity to pursue his love of painting with more time and enthusiasm. He changed to watercolours because of the loose and luminous effect they provided ,particularly for skies, snow, and water which are key elements in watercolour.
Ed has taken workshops with many well regarded artists and has been on two painting trips with the renowned watercolour artist Jack Reid. Ed is a member of eleven art associations and exhibits in multiple art shows each year, both juried and non-juried.

Among the Trees

Sunday Service: Among the Trees

June 11th, 2017 - 10:30 AM                   Rev. Fiona Heath

Ancient cosmologies tell of a magnificent World-Tree that grows at the centre of the universe.

From the crown to the roots, the world tree encompasses all realms of existence.
The trunk holds humankind, the branches reach high into the domain of the Gods, holding up the heavens and the stars.
The roots stretch down into the depths of the earth to wisdom, to the underworld.

Sunday, November 27th, 10:30 AM                Rev. Fiona Heath

Endings are inevitable.  Jobs end, relationships end, change can sometimes feel like the only constant in our lives.  What can we do to handle endings with grace and dignity?

Big Here, Long Now

The Big Here and The Long Now

March 15th, 2015

Rev. Fiona Heath

We recently renovated our kitchen. A couple of owners ago had moved most of the kitchen into an unheated back porch where you could open the oven door or do the dishes at the sink but never at the same time.
