Sourcefire: Winter Solstice Ritual

On Thursday December 21st at 7:30 it is time for our Winter Solstice ritual.  Come and light up the evening of Yule.  Help us cast off the darkness and return to hope.  This is a high sacred point on the wheel of the year, and one of our most beautiful rituals.  It includes our little festival of lights, exquisite performances by Caroline Hyde, dancing, meditation and the warmth of community.  This night is a treasured SourceFire tradition, and it wouldn’t be the same without you.

If you would like to participate, please contact Melissa Weale, Co-ordinator of the SourceFire Council at sourcefireinfo@uucm.ca Blessed Be.

SourceFire meets in the Great Hall on the third Thursday of the month from September to June.  We celebrate our UU principles and honor the earth in many ways, some of which may include poetry, readings, meditation, dance, drumming, singing and ritual.  Small groups taking turns planning each ritual by sharing their talents and experiences.

Blessed Be!
